Concepts (FATE)

We would like to welcome aboard a new administrator – Teresa Maria. Teresa Maria has been co-ordinating the FATE exhibitions since the conception of FATE and is now looking to take a more active role in developing the FATE website.

I’ve been getting good practice managing my own website and really been enjoying keeping it updated. I’ve never used sites like this before but found it surprising how easy it is to use, so I am looking forward to keeping this site up to date as well

Over the next few weeks, Teresa will be gathering all the artists statements from past exhibitions and publishing them online. Firstly, I’ll be fixing the image uploading facility for her as mentioned in an earlier post, and then we’ll both get the website back up to scratch.

Fellow artist and FATE coordinator – Teresa Maria has recently had a major upgrade to her website. Gone is the static HTML website and in its place WordPress has been installed.

My images spring from mythology, religion, stories, and dreams. Mythology embodies many truths, spirituality and symbolism, this provides my inspiration.

Her site, www.crystalgalleries.org.uk, showcases a large part of her artwork and provides further in-depth information on the artist. Teresa has uploaded much of her art and seems to be getting to grips on how the website works. The good thing about using WordPress is that Teresa will be able to update her site quite easily without any coding knowledge which is a plus for her as she is able to now promote her artwork more efficiently and easily.

Working in partnership with Concepts Art, I have been instrumental in helping to form and develop FATE, and through FATE, I hope to encourage and support the work of intuitive and visionary artists.
