After a life spent in engineering I decided that a change was in order and having been interested in photography for most of my life, that was the direction I have taken in the last few years. The physical side of photography has changed beyond belief with the introduction of the digital era, but what constitutes a good photograph with film is equally relevant in digital terms. It must catch the eye, ask a question, be pleasing to look at, be moody, colourful, black and white, have depth, have contrast, be the right size, have perspective. In other words, like food, we all have different tastes and as long as I like my photographs I care not a jot what others think (hope you enjoy).
